Uttarakhand: 3 devotees killed after fells into a deep gorge during Kedarnath Yatra

Rudraprayag: Accidents are not stopping in Kedarnath, Uttarakhand. One accident after another is being heard, which is frightening the passengers present there.

Let us tell you that another accident has happened in Kedarnath, which has created a stir in the entire area.

A tragic accident has happened on the Kedarnath Yatra route today i.e. Wednesday morning, in which three people died while three others are injured.

This terrible accident happened near electricity pole number 153 near Jungle Chatti. Where three to four people fell down from the hill into the ravine.

Two bodies recovered in rescue operation

Let us tell you that this incident happened at around 11:33 am today. As soon as the information was received, the DDRF and local police team reached the spot and started relief and rescue work.

So far 2 bodies have been recovered in the rescue operation, while 3 injured passengers have been sent to Gaurikund Hospital via Kandi. One of the injured persons has suffered minor injuries while two are in critical condition.

The injured and the deceased have been identified

According to the rescue team, there is a possibility of one more person falling into the ditch, whose search operation is going on.

The deceased have been identified as Nitin Kumar resident of Jammu and Kashmir (palanquin worker) and Chandrashekhar resident of Jammu and Kashmir (palanquin worker).

At the same time, the details of the injured have been given in the name of Sandeep Kumar (22 years) resident of Jammu and Kashmir (palanquin worker), Nitin Manhas (16 years) resident of Jammu and Kashmir (palanquin worker) and Akash Chitriya (40 years) resident of Gujarat (passenger).

The administration appealed to the devotees

The reasons for the accident have not been known till the time of writing the news, but many people believe that this tragic accident has happened due to slippery and inaccessible path on the mountain road. The administration has appealed to the pilgrims to be cautious.

The rescue team skillfully pulled out the injured from the ditch and after first aid, immediately sent them to Gaurikund Hospital.

Among the three injured, one woman has minor injuries and two men have serious injuries. The administration has ensured proper treatment of the injured. Unfortunately, two dandi-kandi operators died in this accident.
