Srinagar: Vocational trainers in Srinagar continued their peaceful protest for the ninth consecutive day on Friday, seeking a comprehensive and sustainable job policy to address their long-pending employment concerns. The protesting trainers said they have repeatedly raised their grievances with the authorities and are now urging the government to initiate meaningful dialogue and take concrete measures to resolve their demands.
The protesters said vocational trainers have an important role in providing skill-based education to students and supporting the vocational education system. However, they claimed that several employment and service-related issues affecting trainers remain unresolved. The trainers are seeking a clear policy framework that can provide greater employment security and address their long-standing concerns.
The ninth day of the protest has once again drawn attention to the employment-related concerns of vocational trainers in Jammu and Kashmir. The protesters appealed to the administration and concerned departments to consider their demands sympathetically and begin discussions aimed at finding a lasting solution. The trainers reiterated that their agitation will remain peaceful and called for timely action on their demands.
