New Delhi: The second part of the month of October has started and during this time the Meteorological Department has predicted dry and clear weather. In the coming days, especially till October 20, the weather will remain clear and dry, due to which the temperature will drop and the coolness of the morning and evening will also increase.

These days, the effect of westerly winds blowing from the western direction is clearly visible on the weather. The sky remained clear throughout the day on Saturday and less humidity was felt in the weather.

There was light fog in the morning, but as the day progressed, the sun shone due to which the atmosphere remained clear and dry.

Downward trend in temperature

According to the Meteorological Department, a drop of about 2 degrees Celsius was recorded in the maximum temperature during the last 24 hours. On Saturday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 32.8 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 22.9 degrees Celsius.

In the coming days, the maximum temperature is expected to be 31 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 22 degrees Celsius. This trend shows that the heat will gradually reduce during the day and the coolness of the morning and evening will increase.

Humidity and Wind Speed

The humidity on Saturday was 98% in the morning and 68% in the evening. Humidity levels are likely to remain between 75% to 92% in the next few days. The wind speed is expected to be 4 to 5 kilometers per hour, due to which the atmosphere will remain dry and the cold will gradually start being felt.

Beneficial weather for farmers

This season is proving to be very beneficial especially for the farmers. The time for sowing Rabi crops has arrived and potato and maize farmers are busy preparing the fields. The dry weather creates suitable conditions for farming, which makes sowing of crops easier.

The forecast of the Meteorological Department is indicating that the weather will remain clear and dry till Diwali. Although there will be an increase in morning and evening coolness, there will be no rain or any major weather disturbance.
