Dehradun: Kedarnath, nestled in the lap of the mountains, is a pilgrimage site located high in the Himalayas, where pilgrims must not only climb to reach it, but also face changing weather, rain, snowfall, and difficult paths.

This journey is a symbol of Hindu faith, but its difficulty can sometimes make it challenging. It can be especially difficult for the elderly and children.

To make this journey easier, the Adani Group is building a 12.9-kilometer-long ropeway at a cost of over 4,000 crore rupees. It is said to reduce the journey from Sonprayag to Kedarnath from 8 to 9 hours to just 36 minutes.

Gautam Adani has posted a video on the social media platform X. It states that the arduous climb to Kedarnath Dham will now be easier. The Adani Group is building this ropeway to make the journey easier and safer for pilgrims. We are proud to be a part of this virtuous work.

Information provided in the video
The video shared on social media explains that the Kedarnath Yatra is a center of faith for millions of Hindus, but difficult, unpredictable routes and long journey times make it challenging. Adani Group is now taking steps to combine convenience with faith. With the 12.9-kilometer-long Kedarnath Ropeway, the travel time will be reduced from 8 to 9 hours to just 36 minutes. 1,800 passengers will be able to travel per hour in each direction. The gondola will have 35 seats and will be India's first 3S (Trickable) ropeway, based on the world's safest and most modern technologies.

A call for care for nature is made
The video explains that this ropeway will save time and provide a safe and smooth journey. This will allow the elderly, children, and women to travel easily, and boost the local economy. Environmental protection is a challenge in mountainous regions, but the Adani Group has promised sustainable construction, approvals, and local participation to maintain a balance between nature and faith. India's heritage will be strengthened when the path of faith is made easy and safe.
