PM Modi Claims Historic Win, Attacks Opposition Over Women’s Bill (mage Source: Internet)
Hardoi: PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the Ganga Expressway in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, describing it as the state's "lifeline." He stated that this expressway would facilitate travel between Meerut and Prayagraj and give new momentum to development.
Making a significant political assertion during his speech, the Prime Minister declared that the BJP would achieve a "historic hat-trick" in the upcoming elections across five states. He expressed confidence that the results on May 4th would further accelerate the nation's development and strengthen the resolve to build a "Developed India" (*Viksit Bharat*).
Referring to the ongoing elections in West Bengal, PM Modi noted that heavy voter turnout was being witnessed in the second phase as well. He cited this as a sign of the strength of democracy, adding that people are now casting their votes "without fear"—something that was not possible in the past.
While lauding the people of Bengal, he also appealed to them to turn out in even greater numbers to cast their votes. PM Modi launched a scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party and the Indian National Congress. He asserted that these parties are opposed to development and also disregard the interests of women.
Referring to the "Nari Shakti Vandan Amendment," the prime minister stated that, starting in 2029, this legislation would provide reservation for women in Parliament and State Legislative Assemblies.
He alleged that by opposing this bill, the Samajwadi Party and the Congress had exposed their "anti-women mindset."
