New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has urged young women and Gen Z across the country to participate in peaceful protests demanding safer public spaces for women. He said women should not face restrictions because of crimes committed against them.

In a post on X, Gandhi shared a video message in which he said, “Stop punishing women for the crimes committed against them,” while highlighting concerns over women’s safety and freedom of movement.

Rahul Gandhi Raises Concerns Over Safety and Freedom

Gandhi said that asking women to stay at home cannot be the answer to crimes against them. He called upon young people, especially Gen Z, to demand safer streets and stronger action to address safety concerns.
