New Delhi: Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) President and actor Vijay arrived here in the National Captial to face the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) questioning in connection with the Karur stampede. The tragedyhad claimed 41 lives during a party campaign event in September last year.
The CBI had issued a notice to Vijay under Section 179 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS)and asked him to appear befor the probe agency for examination.
The CBI may question the actorand TVK Chief on crowd control lapses, rally planning and safety failures in the last year rur tragedy that had taken lives of 41 people
