New Delhi: Senior leaders of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), including MPs YV Subba Reddy, Ayodhya Rami Reddy, PV Midhun Reddy and other party parliamentarians, on Thursday launched a sharp attack on the Andhra Pradesh government's Amaravati infrastructure projects, alleging large-scale cost escalation and financial imprudence under the Telugu Desam Party (TDP)-led administration.

Addressing a press conference in the national capital, the YSRCP leaders claimed that several road and infrastructure projects being undertaken in Amaravati have witnessed "unjustified cost inflation," placing a heavy burden on the state's finances.

The party alleged that the current government is prioritizing expensive construction works without ensuring their long-term economic viability.
