New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned former cricketer Robin Uthappa and Yuvraj singh for questioning. Uthappa summoned on 22 September and Yuvraj on 23 September in a suspected money laundering case linked to an illegal online betting software, sources said on Tuesday.

ED Summons Robin Uthappa

According to sources, 39-year-old Uthappa has been asked to record his statement under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in a case related to the 1xBet website. He has been asked to testify on 22 September.

After Uthappa, Yuvraj Singh has been asked to appear next week to record his statements under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in a case related to a platform called 1xBet, officials said. he has to testify on 23 September.

Sonu Sood Also Called

Also actor Sonu Sood for questioning in an alleged illegal online betting app-linked money laundering case. He has been asked to depose during the next week on 24 September and get recorded his statements.

Who Else Been Questioned?

So far, Robin Uthappa is the third former Indian cricketer to be summoned to Delhi in the case. In the past several weeks, former cricketers Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina have been questioned by the federal probe agency on the same case.
