Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have retired from T20 International and Test cricket. Therefore, both can play for India in only one format. Rohit and Virat last played for India in the ICC Champions Trophy, where India defeated New Zealand to win the title.
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma together have scored over 25,000 runs in ODI cricket, including 83 centuries. But the big question now is whether these two great batsmen will be able to play until the 2027 ODI World Cup. This mega event is still two years away.
By then, Rohit Sharma will be over 40, while Virat Kohli will be close to 39. While Rohit, known as the "Hitman," may be a concern due to his age, King Kohli's fitness is excellent. Therefore, there's every possibility that he could be a part of Team India in the 2027 World Cup.
