Sydney: Team India batter Shreyas Iyer has been discharged from a Sydney hospital and is now recovering and will return to India when gets medical clearance.
Shreyas was admitted to the hospital after suffering a ruptured spleen and rib cage injury during a match against Australia in Sydney.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has issued a medical bulletin on Shreyas Iyer after his injury in the third and final ODI against Australia in Sydney. The batter sustained a âblunt injury to his abdomenâ while fielding, resulting in internal bleeding. The BCCI on Saturday confirmed that the bleeding was immediately stopped following a minor procedure.
