Gill suffered this injury during the first Test at Eden Gardens. He suffered a severe neck strain, which left him uncomfortable with movement and training. Gill arrived at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru for his recovery, where he was monitored by physios, trainers, and the medical team.
