It was his lovely popcorn moment with an enthusiastic child that stole the show.
The clip has now started making its rounds on social media platforms, with many calling it the cutest moment of the match.
The cameras highlighted Dhoni standing anywhere among the spectators who were watching the game. Beside him was a young boy, with a box of popcorn in hand.
He, again, in a fun and playful manner asked the boy if he could have some popcorn. Dhoni happily accepted it from the youngster and, with a smile, took the treat. Moments later, the boy offered more popcorn to him, to which he declined by patting his ready hand, indicating that it is enough for him.
The food exchange was simple and short, but it showed how Dhoni could be down to earth despite exceptional talent, which fans have always appreciated of him.
