2 killed, 3 injured as car rams into truck in UP

Two men were killed and three others injured when their car rammed into the rear of a truck on the Lucknow-Shahjahanpur Highway, police said Saturday.

Bareilly: Two men were killed and three others injured when their car rammed into the rear of a truck on the Lucknow-Shahjahanpur Highway, police said Saturday.

The accident took place on Friday night in Faridpur area, Inspector Satish Chand said.

The five men were rushed to a hospital, where Zaid (24) and Saiful (22) succumbed to injuries, he said.

The two men were residents of Hajiyapur in Bareilly. (PTI)
