Prayagraj: Mafia-turned-leader Atiq Ahmed kept on crying whole night in the lockup at Dhumanganj police station in Prayagraj on the death of his son Asad during an encounter in Jhansi.
Asad would be buried at Kasari-Masari cemetery in Chakia under police supervision.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, Atiq Ahmad will not be able to witness the last rites of his son Asad. Asad's mother Shaista too may not be able to attend her son's burial as she is on the run.
According to Atiq's close relatives and locals, Asad's burial procession will leave Atiq's Chakia residence to the Kasari-Masari cemetery after Friday prayers.
