New Delhi: Two youths were apprehended for allegedly stone pelting and damaging vehicles parked in colony street in Mahendra Park Police Station area, police said on Wednesday.

Delhi Police received two PCR calls at Mahendra Park PS DD No 121A and 123A on Tuesday night at around 2245 hours regarding quarrel, damage and stone pelting.

Responding to the calls, police rushed to the site and enquired and did analysis of CCTV footage, it was found that five people came to I-Block Jahangir Puri in search of some persons with whom they had some argument a few days ago, said a senior Delhi Police Official.

According to police, the accused were allegedly drunk and they did not find anyone whom they were searching. They got angry and threw some stones at the glass of three vehicles and damaged them.

Both the groups of boys are aged 17-18 years so the names of both parties have been withheld as their age have not been confirmed, police said.

There was no communal angle to the quarrel as both the groups belong to the same community. No one was injured in the said incident, said police.

Two persons have been apprehended and hunts are on to trace rest of the persons who will be apprehended soon, said police.The legal action is being taken, said police. (UNI)
