New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday said all anti-pollution measures under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP-IV) except relating to schools will remain in force till December 2.
Measures Under GRAP–IV except the measures which are modified in respect of the schools will continue to operate till Monday, the Apex Court said.
A bench of Justices Abhay S Oka and Augustine George Masih said the report submitted by the court commissioners showed that there had been a "total failure" by the authorities to implement the GRAP IV restrictions in letter and spirit.
The bench added that the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) will hold a meeting to decide on easing the GRAP restrictions.
