New Delhi: Delhi Police on Wednesday nabbed the arms supplier for allegedly supplying arms to the accused in the violence in Jahangirpuri during a Hanuman Jayanti procession on April 16.

He was apprehended after a brief encounter.

DCP Outer North Brijender Yadav said, “Arms supplier from Jahangirpuri nabbed after a brief encounter, he was injured in the police encounter. He has more than 60 previous cases.”

Earlier, police recovered a pistol from a 28-year-old man who allegedly opened fire on the day of violence.
