Mahagathbandhan returns in Bihar under Nitish Kumar; includes 7 parties and 164 MLA

Patna: Once again Mahagathbandhan government is going to be formed under the leadership of Nitish Kumar in Bihar. JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav met Bihar Governor Phagu Chauhan to stake claim to form the new government in the state.

I came here to meet Governor and gave my resignation. There are 7 parties including 164 MLAs along with Independents in Mahagathbandahan, said Nitish Kumar at a joint presser with Tejashwi Yadav after meeting the Governor.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said that BJP destroys the parties with whom it forms an alliance. We did see that happening in Punjab & Maharashtra. 

Nitish submitted his resignation to the Governor today and also claimed to form the new government. Later Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav again met the Governor and formally submitted to him list of MLAs required to form the government.
