MP: Gas leak in soda factory in Anuppur, 20 people fall sick

Shahdol: Twenty people were indisposed after chlorine gas leaked from a soda factory here in Anuppur, police said on Sunday.

According to police sources, the victims in the Saturday night incident were taken to a nearby hospital. After medical check ups, 12 patients were admitted to Shahdol Medical College. All the patients are fine.

Committee to probe
The Anuppur district collector has constituted a three-member committee to investigate the incident. The panel will submit its report in 3 days. Action will be taken against those responsible after receiving the report.
