Kupwara: One terrorist killed, 2 Army personnel injured during an ongoing encounter in Kupwara's Safawali Gal along the Line of Control; 1 AK-47 rifle recovered from the terrorist.

The encounter broke out in the forests of Kupwara district last night.

Two soldiers were injured in the gunbattle and have been evacuated for medical attention, an Army official said.

The operation was going on when reports last came in. (PTI)
