Lucknow: Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore on Saturday said the kind of work Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done for the nation would result in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) enjoying and securing a huge wave of support in the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.

Talking to media agency, Rathore said other parties have been in Uttar Pradesh for far too long and have not been able to bring about the required change in the state.

"The kind of commitment the Prime Minister has shown to the nation; that is what has attracted the entire Uttar Pradesh. The way the PM works for the entire nation; every youth of UP sees that and wants that sort of commitment for them as well. Our only agenda is development," Rathore said.

Asserting that his party is determined to develop the state, he said people of Uttar Pradesh have welcomed the commitment of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Prime Minister.
