New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld the constitutional validity of Aadhaar and said that it empowers the marginalised sections of the society.

 

 

Main Points:

1. Aadhaar card is mandatory for PAN linking.

2. Aadhaar is not mandatory for UGC, NEET & CBSE examinations. 

3. Aadhaar need not be made compulsory for school admissions.

4. No mobile company can demand "Aadhaar card".
