Security forces get huge success against Naxals in Chhattisgarh

Bijapur: At least 12  Naxalites were killed on Thursday in encounter with security forces in Bijapur district, reports Dynamite News correspondent. 

Encounter breaks out during anti-Naxalite operation
The encounetr ensued in a forest of south Bijapur during an anti-Naxalite operation. The gunfight began around 9 am and the intermittent firing was heard till the evening, a police official said.  

Gunfight still on
No injury was reported to security forces. The gunfight is still on. Further details are awaited.
