Varanasi: At least six people were killed and five others seriously injured after their vehicle collied with a parked truck in Varanasi, police said on Friday.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, the accident occurred on the GT Road near Mirzamurad area.
The victims were going to Prayagraj for Maha Kumbh. The police said the devotees hailed from Karnataka.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.
The collison was so severe that the front portion of the jeep left completely damaged. (With Agency Inputs)
