SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav visits deceased Nisha’s family; targets Yogi govt for police atrocities

Chandauli: Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav on Monday went to Syedaraja in Chandauli and met the family members of police atrocities victim Nisha Yadav, who had succumbed to injuries caused by police thrashing.  

After meeting the deceased’s relatives, SP chief demanded an enquiry under the supervision of a High Court judge as he had no faith in UP police.

Targeting the Yogi govt, he said the UP had become a police state where the govt is using police against innocent people. 

Taking a jibe at UP CM Yogi, Akhilesh said that Bulldozer Baba should tell his plan to roll his bulldozer on the Lalitpur police. 

He slammed BJP over videography of Gyanvapi Masjid, Varanasi. He said the govt is deviating from the real issues of inflation and corruption.
