SP will win with huge margin in Karhal: Tej Pratap Singh Yadav

Mainpuri: Samajwadi Party's candidate Tej Pratap Singh Yadav on Tuesday carried out door-to-door campaign in Mainpuri district’s Karhal Assembly seat and exuded confidence that the SP would win Karhal by-polls by a huge margin. 

Talking to reporters, he said: "People have decided to support the Samajwadi Party. The BJP has not fulfilled any of the promises they made to the public. The SP will win by a huge margin with the blessings of the people."

He also visits Rathera

Tej Pratap Yadav also visited village Rathera to meet a bereaved family and expressed his condolences.

By-polls on Nov 20

By-elections for nine assembly seats, including Karhal, in Uttar Pradesh will be held on November 20. The outcome of the polls will be announced on November 23. 

Karhal seat was represented by Samajwadi party chief Akhilesh Yadav, who vacated it after being elected to the Lok Sabha in general elections held earlier this year.
