UP: Roadways bus bulldozes bike-born family in Lakhimpur Kheri; Four killed

Lakhimpur Kheri: A high speed Uttarakhand Transport Corporation bus rammed into a bike killing four of the same family riding the bike sans a daughter who is now an orphan here in Lakhimpur Kheri.

The family was returning home after attending their mother's last rites.

The family included daughter, her husband, son, father-in-law, who were returning home after attending their mother's funeral. These four members were killed on the spot while their five-year-old daughter was injured in the accident.

Accident Location

The tragedy happened near Sansarpur town of Gola Gokarnath police station area. According to reports, Shivkumar, a resident of Shaypur village had gone to attend a funeral in the family with his father Ramautar, wife Radha and 8-year-old son. 
The police team reached the spot and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.

The accident has sent panicwaves throughout the area. The victims' family members are in utter shock.

Police has intensified the search of the bus driver.
