Meerut: The Archaeological Department has found a Mahabharata-era tunnel in Pakka Talab on Hastinapur Road at Mawana in Meerut. This has created a stir among the people. 

Many district officers including SDM have reached the spot. It is being speculated to be a secret path of the Mahabharata period. The Archaeological Department officials also have arrived to examine the site.
