Woman arrested for killing mother-in-law

A woman was allegedly shot dead over family disputes, following which two persons, including her daughter-in-law, have been arrested.

Muzaffarnagar: A woman was allegedly shot dead over family disputes, following which two persons, including her daughter-in-law, have been arrested, police said today.

Radha Rani was killed on November 11, they said.

Investigation revealed that the victim's daughter-in-law, Bhawana, along with her paramour and his family were involved in the crime, SP (crime) R B Chorasia said. Bhawana and her paramour's mother were arrested yesterday and they have confessed to the crime, he said.

The police were searching for the other accused -- Bhawana's paramour and his father, Chorasia said. (PTI)
