New Delhi: The Union Home Ministry has withdrawn the Y+ category CRPF security cover of Akash Anand, nephew of BSP chief Mayawati, after a security review with officials, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Dynamite News is the first to report this exclusive development. Akash Anand, son of Mayawati's brother Anand Kumar, previously enjoyed high-level protection typically given to individuals facing serious threats. 

The official order in this regard has been issued by the Union Home Ministry.

The order states that the decision to withdraw the security has been taken after a high-level review.

The assembly elections in the state to be held in next one and a half years and all parties are eyeing the Dalit vote bank.

The central government had provided central security to Chandrashekhar Azad in the middle of the last Lok Sabha elections.

At present, amid the ongoing infighting in the BSP, the removal of Akash Anand's security is being considered a big and unexpected step in political circles.

Seeing the BSP weakening, a large number of Dalit leaders are turning towards the SP, while the BJP also wants to pull the Dalit vote bank to its side through various schemes.

Just before the Lok Sabha elections, a large number of Dalit leaders of BSP joined SP, most of whom won and in this way SP not only succeeded in becoming the third largest party of the country but also stopped the victory chariot of BJP in UP.
