New Delhi: Samsung has launched its new F-series phone, Galaxy F36 5G, in India. The price of this phone has been kept below 20,000 and it is equipped with Exynos 1380 chipset, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
This Samsung phone has a triple rear camera setup with 50-megapixel primary camera and a leather finish back panel at the rear. The brand new phone has been introduced in three color options. It has a lot of AI features like Google's Circle to Search and Gemini Live. Also, the Galaxy F36 5G has a 5,000mAh battery.
The price of Samsung Galaxy F36 5G has been kept at Rs 17,499 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. At the same time, the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is available for Rs 18,999.
This new F-series smartphone will be available for sale on Flipkart and Samsung's official online store from July 29, 12 noon. The phone was introduced in three color options - Coral Red, Lux Violet and Onyx Black. All variants have a leather finish rear panel, which gives it a premium look.
The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G is a dual-SIM phone with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display. The display comes with full-HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. The display has a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera.
The phone is equipped with an octa-core Exynos 1380 processor, paired with Mali-G68 MP5 GPU. It also has a vapor chamber for thermal management. In this phone you will get upto 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage and it can be expanded with a microSD card.
For photography, the Galaxy F36 5G has a triple rear camera setup, with a primary 50-megapixel f/1.8 sensor, which supports optical image stabilization (OIS) and 4K video recording. Apart from this, there is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. This phone has a 13-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls, which also supports 4K video recording.
The phone runs on Android 15 based One UI 7. Samsung has promised 6 generations of Android OS updates and 7 years of security patches. It also has AI features like Google Circle to Search, Gemini Live, Object Eraser, Image Clipper and AI Edit Suggestions.
This phone has a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 25W fast charging. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C port. For connectivity, there is dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 and GPS + GLONASS support. The size of the phone is 164.4x77.9x7.7mm and the weight is 197 grams.
