New Delhi: Apple has released the beta version of iOS 26. This update comes at a time when the beta 6 update was introduced just a week ago. That is, the company is now rapidly advancing the phase of continuous testing. However, no major change or new feature has been added in this new update.
However, according to a report, in this update, the blood oxygen monitoring feature in Apple Watch has been restarted for US users. Last year this feature was removed due to a patent dispute with health tech company Masimo. Now, with iOS 26 beta 7, this feature has returned, which is considered a big change for health-related users.

A new toggle option called "Adaptive Power Notification" has been added to the battery settings in iOS 26 beta 7. This feature can possibly be a smart alert system related to battery saving, which will help in better managing the power consumption of the device.

Another small but useful change has been seen inside the Message app. Now the draft option has also been included in the filter view. That is, users will be able to save incomplete messages as drafts and send them later. This is especially beneficial for those who stop in the middle during messaging.

Apple has not released any special release note or detailed changelog with this update. It has only been said that in the beta version, users get a glimpse of the upcoming new apps, features, and technology. This means that the company is still at the stage of experimentation and testing.
According to reports, after iOS 26 beta 6, there has been a lot of improvement in the performance of the iPhone. Now after the arrival of beta 7, it is expected that the system will have become even more stable and faster, although for this we will have to wait for a few days for user feedback.
The iOS 26 beta 7 update is a small but important step. Even though it does not see major changes, changes like the return of blood oxygen monitoring, a new toggle in battery settings, and a draft feature in the Messages app make it useful for users. Apple's strategy of providing frequent updates shows that the final version of iOS 26 will go through several rounds of testing before it is released.
Note: This update is currently only for developers and beta users; general users will get these features with the stable version of iOS 26.
