New Delhi: To further strengthen the country's security, the Ministry of Defense has approved significant defense deals worth approximately ₹79,000 crore. This decision will significantly enhance the combat capabilities of the Army, Navy, and Air Force. It will also strengthen the goal of a self-reliant India.
The Defense Acquisition Council meeting approved the purchase of the Nag Missile System MK-II for the Army. This missile is capable of destroying enemy tanks and fortified positions. Additionally, a ground-based mobile electronic intelligence system will provide the Army with 24-hour intelligence surveillance. High-mobility vehicles will help deliver supplies to troops in difficult terrain.
