Rajasthan High Court on Tuesday dismissed the application of rape convict and self-styled godman Asaram for suspension of the sentence in the case.
Asaram has sent a mercy plea to the governor of Rajasthan seeking dilution of his life sentence.
The Jodhpur Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe Court on Wednesday is set to pronounce its verdict on Asaram Bapu rape case.
