Equity indices spurt 3 pc, banking stock upbeat

Equity benchmark indices jumped by nearly 3 per cent during the afternoon on Monday as Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget in Parliament with a strong focus on infrastructure and healthcare sectors.
