The number of people killed in the collapse of a dam, belonging to the Vale company, in the southeastern Brazilian state of Minas Gerais’ Brumadinho municipality has grown to 224.
The death toll in the dam collapse here has risen to 99, as a total of 259 people still remain missing after the January 25 tragedy.
At least seven people were killed, and around 150 others went missing, after a dam burst at an iron ore mine in southeast Brazil near the city of Belo Horizonte.
