Ayodhya is all set to hold a grand Deepotsav on Saturday on the eve of Diwali, with over 24 lakh diyas at 51 ghats set to illuminate the city.

As India is all set to celebrate Diwali with traditional fervour, preparations are in the final stage for the grand ‘Deepotsav’ (festival of lamps) organised by the Uttar Pradesh government at Ram ki Paidi ghats in Ayodhya.

Arrangements have been made for virtual ‘Deepotsav’ this year in Ayodhya as a precaution against the COVID-19 pandemic, as per the directions of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Artists from different states like Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Rajasthan have gathered in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh ahead of ‘Deepotsav’.
