A 17-year-old boy was beaten to death and his genitals were mutilated in Bihar’s Muzzafarpur on Friday over an alleged love affair by the family of the girl.
An alleged scam has come to light in Muzzafarpur where under National Health Mission scheme incentives are given to women for giving birth to female child.
Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, who was swarmed by reporters over Bihar’s encephalitis menace outside Parliament here, on Tuesday said the Centre would make all possible efforts to help the state government contain and control the disease.
