Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated 1.75 lakh houses built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) in Madhya Pradesh.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath said, “Uttar Pradesh has scored first place in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and I am happy to inform that in rural areas, we have been successful in providing houses to 11 lakh poor families .”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said he dreams of every family owning a house by 2022 when the nation will celebrate 75 years of independence, and asserted that no bribes have to be paid to avail benefits of the Centre’s housing scheme.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit his constituency, Varanasi, and will flag off a direct train service to Vadodara.
Prime Minister said, “Various steps undertaken by UP govt for the betterment of the state”.
