Delhi may receive light showers on Wednesday but will have to wait for seven to 10 more days for monsoon rains, according to the India Meteorological Department.
Pre-monsoon rains lashed Chandigarh and parts of Punjab and Haryana on Thursday, bringing respite to the people from scorching heat, the MeT department said here.
