The case came to light when businessman Deepak Kothari alleged that Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty’s company defrauded him of ₹60 crore. The EOW is investigating the financial transactions of Raj Kundra’s company to determine whether the funds were misused as alleged.
These allegations have been made against Shilpa and Raj for Best Deal TV Private Limited. Businessman Deepak Kothari said that Shilpa and Raj taken Rs 60 crore from him for the expansion of their company, which they later spent on their personal expenses.
