Prime Minister Narendra Modi and European Commission President H.E Ms. Ursula von der Leyen, jointly announced the conclusion of the India–European Union Free Trade Agreement (India–EU FTA) at the 16th India–EU Summit, held during the visit of the European leaders to India.
The much awaited Free Trade Agreement (FTA) deal between India and the United Kingdom (UK) may be signed next week. This deal will not only be beneficial for small traders and exporters of India, but will also open new avenues of employment and investment.
US President Donald Trump had announced to impose tariff on more than 200 countries on 2 April, it also included India.
