In Mumbai, the Shiv Sena (UBT) and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) announced an alliance for the upcoming BMC elections. Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray have reunited after 20 years. Sanjay Raut described it as a historic step for Maharashtra and the Marathi people.
Former Chief Minister and Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray has attacked the SCR. He said that local body elections in Maharashtra should be held only after the voter list is cleaned up.
The last time Raj Thackeray went to Matoshree was about 6 years ago and he invited the Uddhav family to his son Amit Thackeray’s wedding.
