New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Dinesh Pratap Singh appeared LIVE on Dynamite News, where he shared his views on several key political and governance issues, including the BJP’s strategy for the upcoming UP Assembly Elections, cabinet expansion, the party’s new national executive president, and the controversial codeine cough syrup case.
During the interview, the minister gave strong reactions on the bulldozer action taken against the accused and addressed questions surrounding the state’s political climate.
Speaking about the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections 2027, Dinesh Pratap Singh said that the BJP will approach the elections by directly connecting with the people and prioritising public issues. He emphasised that the party’s main objective is to strengthen development and security in the state, ensuring a safe and prosperous future for the people of Uttar Pradesh.

On the topic of cabinet expansion in Uttar Pradesh, Singh stated that the state is witnessing stability under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He clarified that any decision regarding expansion or changes will be taken by the party’s top leadership.
“If any change is required, the party will consider it. Our sole focus remains on the development of the state,” he said, adding that cabinet expansion has always been a subject of political discussion in Uttar Pradesh.
Dinesh Pratap Singh also shared his thoughts on the BJP’s new national executive president. He expressed confidence that the new leadership would further strengthen the party and efficiently manage organisational responsibilities.
He said that under the new leadership, the BJP’s focus will remain on strengthening the organisation, promoting democratic values, and safeguarding the interests of all sections of society.
Reacting firmly to the bulldozer action taken against the accused in the codeine cough syrup case, Singh said that no one involved in crime would be spared, regardless of their power or influence.

Referring to the situation before 2017, Singh said that organised crime was once rampant in the state. “Today, we can confidently say that organised crime has been eliminated from Uttar Pradesh,” he added.
On law and order, Dinesh Pratap Singh said that under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, Uttar Pradesh has seen significant improvements. “There is rule of law in the state today, and strict action is continuously being taken against criminals. No offender will be spared,” he concluded.
