Lucknow: The UP High School and Intermediate Board Exams are beginning from 18 February Wednesday and will continue till 12 March 2026 across the state. The morning shift will be from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM, while the afternoon shift is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.

Guidelines

Here are the guidelines, the UP Board (UPMSP) has issued for the students who are appearing for the exams.

Register your attendance on time
All students should ensure their presence at the examination center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time. However, if a student arrives late, they will be allowed to enter the center up to half an hour late, depending on special circumstances.

Carry your admit card
All students must bring their admit card to the examination center. If a student forgets their admit card in a hurry, the examination room controller will allow them to appear for the exam, but they will be required to present their admit card for the next paper. If a student forgets their admit card for the second paper as well, they will be barred from taking the exam.

Other important rules
1. Regular mode students should wear their school uniform to the examination center.

2. Do not carry any electronic gadgets.

3. Do not use slips or other materials for cheating.

More than 5.2 million students will appear for the exams. This year, 5,230,297 students registered for the UP Board exams. 2,750,945 students are registered in high school, of which 1,438,683 are boys and 1,312,263 are girls.
