UP teacher recruitment set to Begin (Internet)
Prayagraj: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has taken a major step to make teacher recruitment in aided schools, colleges, and other educational institutions faster and more transparent.
Following the Secondary and Higher Education Departments, the UPESSC has now signed the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) document for the E-Adhiyachan (E-Requisition) portal and sent it to the Department of Personnel two days ago. Once approved, the portal will be launched by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), with the platform expected to go live next week.
The portal is designed to streamline the online submission and receipt of requisitions for recruitment across the state’s educational institutions. Testing for bulk submission of requisitions-both from sending institutions and receiving authorities-has been completed successfully, with all issues resolved by the NIC. The UAT document is now in its final approval stage.
Once live, departments will be able to submit their recruitment requisitions online. In the first phase, over 24,000 vacancies will be filled, including:
Higher Education posts: Assistant Professors and Principals
Secondary Education posts: Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), Principals, and Assistant Teachers in affiliated primary schools
With the launch of the E-Adhiyachan portal, the recruitment process for new teachers across Uttar Pradesh is officially set in motion.
