New Delhi: Senior advocate and Rajya Sabha MP Abhishek Manu Singhvi on Monday unveiled the Congress party’s upcoming political strategy during a press conference at the party headquarters in New Delhi. He announced that the party will soon launch four major public outreach campaigns aimed at engaging directly with citizens and raising key concerns against the Central government.
Singhvi stated that the campaigns will primarily focus on issues such as inflation, unemployment, social justice, and strengthening democratic institutions. He emphasized that the Congress intends to take these issues to the grassroots level and initiate a nationwide dialogue with the public.
Speaking on the Data Protection Act, Singhvi underlined that safeguarding citizens’ privacy must remain paramount. He argued that the law should be transparent and accountable, alleging that the current provisions contain several shortcomings that require serious reconsideration.
The Congress leader said the party’s upcoming initiatives are designed to amplify public concerns and hold the government accountable on critical policy matters.
