

The deadly attack and robbery on Rinki Kinnar, a member of the transgender community, in Mughalsarai area of Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh has created a sensation.
Chandauli: Rinki Kinnar, a member of the transgender community, was attacked in Mughalsarai of Chandauli district. After the incident, the community demanded security and arrest of the criminals.
The deadly attack and robbery on Rinki Kinnar, a member of the transgender community, in Mughalsarai area of Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh has created a sensation. Late Friday night in Padav area, about 20 attackers surrounded Rinki Kinnar and beat her with sticks and looted her valuables including diamond jewellery. Rinki has suffered serious injuries in this attack. Shivam's car, who was with Rinki, was also damaged by the attackers.
Angry over the incident, about 50 members of the transgender community reached Mughalsarai police station and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits. They alleged that some local youths and some self-proclaimed transgenders are involved in criminal activities and are tarnishing the image of the entire community.
The transgenders appealed to the police administration to ensure their safety and consider the real transgender community different from the criminals. At present, the police is investigating the matter and is claiming to examine the CCTV footage.
