Indian motorcycle launches Scout Series in India; Aims to rival Harley-Davidson

New Delhi: American bike company Indian Motorcycle has launched its new bike series in India, which can give a tough competition to Harley-Davidson. This new series has been named 2025 Indian Scout Series, whose ex-showroom price starts at Rs 12.99 lakh. The lineup is now available in eight models, including Indian Scout Sixty Classic, Sixty Bobber, Sport Scout Sixty, 1010 Scout, Scout Classic, Scout Bobber, Sport Scout and Raing Super Scout.

Two Engine Series

The 2025 Scout series gets two engine options. The base models have a 999 cc engine that produces 85 bhp and 87 Nm of torque, while the higher range has a new 1,250 cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine that generates 105 bhp and 108 Nm of torque. This new engine offers better low and mid-range performance than the old 1,133 cc engine, and is paired with a six-speed gearbox.

Modern Features

The Scout series comes with many modern features like keyless ignition, USB charging, connected TFT display, traction control and riding modes. The bike has a very attractive design and competes with bikes like Harley-Davidson Nightster and Triumph Bonneville Bobber.

So far, Indian Motorcycle prices in India start at Rs 20.20 lakh. The company’s popular models include Chief Dark Horse, Chief Bobber Dark Horse and Super Chief Limited. In the coming time, the FTR 1200 model will also be available in India. The most expensive bike is the Super Chief Limited which costs Rs 22,82,155.

Royal Enfield Introduced New Colour

Recently Royal Enfield has introduced a new color ‘Shadow Ash’ for its Guerrilla 450 bike. This special color was launched in Pune during the GRRR Nights X Underground event. The ‘Shadow Ash’ paint scheme is available only for the dash variant of the Guerrilla 450. The ex-showroom price of this bike has been kept at around Rs 2.5 lakh in Chennai. This version has an olive-green fuel tank, which has a black finish, and it also includes the company’s Tripper Navigation Dash Console.
